Greenhouse Studio's Lalu Session

Here is a 3:33 minute video of me doing some warm up takes and actual takes for the Lalu Oniric Metal album which was released on March 25th 2005. This album includes some very talented artists : Russ Bergquist (ex-Annihilator) on Bass, Joop Wolters (Arabesque) on guitar, Martin Lemar (Tommorrows Eve) on Vocals and the amazing Viven Lalu (Shadrane, Hubi Meisel) who wrote the album and played Keyboards and Samples. This clip has me doing some fusion drumming, groove drumming, fast double bass drumming and odd time signature drumming. Prog drumming RVP style, I hope you like it!

Greenhouse Studio's - Non-Human Level

Here is a video footage of myself warming up and laying down various drum tracks for the Non-Human record. This metal side project features Christofer Malmstrom (Darkane) on guitar, Gustaf Hielm (ex-Meshuggah) on Bass and Peter Wildoer (Drummer from Darkane) on vocals. This 3 minutes clip has me doing some double bass/thrash drumming and other cool beats n' stuff. I Hope you enjoy it !

New Year's eve 2003 with GAP

"Pink". This is a song off GAP's first self-titled album. It's a song with a fat groove and some fast 32nd note double kick work. I have a blast playing this song live and it always gets the crowd going. Damn, double bass can be fun. What are you waiting for, CHECK IT OUT !

New Year's eve 2003 with GAP

"A Favour". This is probably one of the craziest song's I have ever recorded with any band. I wish I could show the whole song but that would take too long to download. In the future I may show another clip of me doing some weird cymbal work from this song. I Hope you all like it !

New Year's eve 2003 with GAP

"Gunpowder Mouth". This is probably GAP's most popular song with our fans. We get more feedback on this song than any other. It's a catchy, thrashy type of song with tons of double kick. It's got a bit of everything from groove to chaos ! MUCH METAL !

JUNE Video (featuring Jay Van Poederooyen on bass)

"Sometimes": This is a music video of the band June that I recorded an album for. They ended up getting a nice budget for a video and I was asked to be part of the video since I recorded the drum track. Again, I'm laying down a solid drum groove instead of the intricate Metal or Prog playing. It's good to know all styles and be versatile. A little trivia for ya'll, .my brother (JVP) is the bass player in the video ! Enjoy.

This is some crazy Thrash Metal drummin' done RVP style. Members from Meshuggah and Darkane partcipated in this project. This is a straight up Thrash song with a really cool Chorus. You could say I hit a few Bells and Splash Cymbals in the chorus of this song. Cool stuff! Check it out!
